SQL Server FISHER Function

Description
Use the scalar function FISHER to calculate the Fisher transformation at x. The equation for the Fisher transformation is:
z = {1 \over 2}\ln\left({1+x \over 1-x}\right) = \operatorname{atanh}(x)
Syntax
SELECT [westclintech].[wct].[FISHER] (
<@X, float,>)
Arguments
@X
is the value for which you want the transformation. @X is an expression of type float or of a type that can be implicitly converted to float.
Return Type
float
Remarks
If @X is less than or equal to -1 or greater than or equal to 1, FISHER returns an error.
FISHER(@X) = ATANH(@X)

Select wct.FISHER(.75);
This produces the following result.
